Amazing blade

Came across Bigblue on YouTube while researching removing a tar and gravel roof system. I bought just one big blue to try it out and damn, this thing was able to slice through 2300sq ft of the 70yr old tar and gravel on my house roof. In some places it was about 1/2” thick, yet no problem for Bigblue. Hasn’t lost or even damaged a tooth yet. Can’t recommend this blade enough for this type of demo. 5 stars for sure.

High Quality Demo Blades

A couple years back I ordered a package of 2 of both the 3T and 5T blades after watching a YouTube video. The gentleman in the video was using the 5T to demo the roof on his barn. He was cutting through several layers of shingles and the 1X boards used for the sheathing underneath, using a direct drive circular saw. I was impressed with how easily the 5T on a sidewinder saw chewed through the material.

I have a roof on a home that I am trying to replace, the biggest challenge has been removing the existing roof. The roofing material is a built up layers of felt and tar with stones in places, on top of that the roof was rehabbed back in the 80's with fiberglass mesh placed in on top with a white acrylic coating over the mesh. The top layer of fiberglass mesh was one of the biggest impediments to cutting the roofing material. Following Smartman Tools suggestion I have used the 3T blades on my worm drive saws. The 3T blades have cut through the built up roof with ease. I was very impressed with the performance and decided to order more of the 3T blades to finish this roofing project. Despite the cost per blade I feel it is well worth the expense to offset the cost of having roofing contractor redo the roof, charging me upwards of $10K and likely turning out a relatively inferior product.
