Beast of a tool

While adding a ceiling fan into a room that was added-on to the house decades prior I discovered what I thought would be an attic with exposed ceiling joists was in actuality an old tar/pitch flat top roof. This old tar roof possibly had leaks and since had a sloped roof added above.

I found this tool on an internet search and the price was right for a blade I had never seen nor a brand I was familiar with. Blade arrived promptly and the next day I plunge cut 4 access holes into the old tar/pitch roof. This was a champ of a tool and has many more cuts left in its life.

Roofing project

I bought the three blade and five blade, but only used the three, I used it to cut plywood and shingles and it cut through them with no effort, worth the money, thanks

Simply amazing

Wouldn't have thought there was a tool that could cut through 3 layers of shingles plus plywood sheathing plus aluminum flashing and the occasional roofing nail. But this blade danced through that stuff like it was a hot knife in butter. Initially tried an aggressive blade in my sawzall. All that happened was a gummed up blade.
For demolition, I don't think there is anything better than a BigBlue 3T.
